The Armenian Educational Foundation is proud to announce the extraordinary success of its 75th Anniversary Gala, held on September 7, 2025, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The sold-out event welcomed nearly 600 guests and raised an unprecedented $1.1 million in support of AEF’s mission to serve the educational needs of Armenian students worldwide.

The Gala honored four distinguished individuals, whose leadership and vision have left a lasting mark on education and the Armenian community at large: Ruben Vardanyan and Veronika Zonabend (Educational Visionaries Award), Vahe Hacopian (Distinguished Lifetime Service Award) and Dr. C. L. Max Nikias (Excellence in Education Award). Throughout the evening, guests were moved by stories of impact and inspired by the honorees’ enduring commitment to education and cultural advancement.

The program was led by Gregory Zarian, Emmy-nominated actor and advocate, who served as Master of Ceremonies. His dynamic presence brought warmth and energy, and his personal connection to the organization enriched the celebration.

The program also featured a performance by renowned Armenian singer Nune Yesayan, who took the stage with a selection of songs that was an absolute delight, and added a vibrant cultural highlight to the evening. Her performance was met with enthusiastic applause, rounding out the program with an unforgettable artistic touch.

“Reaching AEF’s 75th year with such overwhelming support is both humbling and inspiring,” said Sandra Kalemkiarian, gala committee co-chair. “The $1.1 million raised will directly strengthen the AEF scholarship programs, expand STEM education, and open new opportunities for Armenian students in Armenia and the diaspora. This success is a testament to the unity of our community and the enduring power of education.”

Proceeds from the Gala will be allocated immediately to AEF’s cornerstone programs, ensuring long-term growth in student scholarships, and innovative learning initiatives.

AEF extended its deepest gratitude to the honorees, sponsors, and attendees whose generosity and commitment made this milestone celebration possible. The Gala’s success not only honored the organization’s 75-year legacy of advancing Armenian education, but also set the stage for its continued growth. With the momentum of this landmark evening, AEF looks ahead with a renewed commitment to empowering generations of Armenian students for the next 75 years and beyond.
