
US Scholarships
Richard R. Tufenkian Scholarship
Three $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to Armenian undergraduate students at an accredited United States college or university. To qualify for this scholarship, students must be of Armenian descent, have a minimum of 3.0 GPA, show financial need, and be actively involved in the Armenian community.
The Richard R. Tufenkian Scholarship Fund was established by the Tufenkian family in memory of their son Richard. The $230,000 endowed fund has provided over $510,000 in scholarships since 1991.

Makarian-Arakelians Scholarship
Two $1500 scholarships will be awarded to Armenian graduate students at an accredited United States college or university, music schools or conservatories in the United States who are majoring in Music or Performing Arts. To qualify for this scholarship, students must be of Armenian descent, have a minimum of 3.0 GPA, show financial need, and be actively involved in the Armenian community.
Scholarship recipients may reapply in subsequent years.

Glendale Community College Scholarships
Eight $500 awards are given to students of Armenian origin (parent or grandparent) attending Glendale City College and are transferring to a 4 year university. They must demonstrate high academic achievement and provide proof of community service. The selection/recommendations are made by GCC.


Armenian High School Scholarships
Four $500 awards are given to high school seniors attending Armenian High Schools in the Los Angeles area who are pursuing their undergraduate education at a college or university. The High school administration determines the criteria for eligibility for this award and the decision is left to the discretion of each high school.

CASPS - The Committee for Armenian Students in Public Schools
$500 awards are given to high school seniors attending High school in the Glendale and surrounding area who are pursuing their undergraduate education at a college or university. The awards are given to students with the highest GPA from each high school and are presented at an Annual CASPS Awards ceremony and parents, teachers, school counselors and administrators as well as GUSD and community leadership.
