Dr. Robert Yavrouian was born and raised in Southern California. He is a board-certified surgeon specializing in colon and rectal surgery.  Dr.Yavrouian has been serving the Southern California area since 2013 with offices in Glendale and the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles.  He has served various leadership roles at the hospital level including Chair of the Department of Surgery of Adventist Health White Memorial from 2019-2024 and is currently the President of the medical staff at Adventist Health White Memorial since 2025. Dr.Yavrouian joined AEF in 2021, and shares its commitment to supporting Armenian students and educational institutions. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, fishing and following USC football and Formula 1.
