Dr. Alen R. Andriassian is the Vice President of Student Services at Glendale Community College, where he leads institutional efforts focused on student success, equity, and engagement. A proud alumnus of GCC, he began his academic journey there before earning a BA in Business Management from Loyola Marymount University, an MPA from CSUN, and an EdD from USC. Dr. Andriassian began his professional career at GCC, later serving as Vice President of Student Services at Los Angeles City College from 2018 to 2024. In 2024, he returned to GCC as its first Armenian Vice President. He has served on several boards in the Glendale community including The Campbell House and The Character & Ethics Project; and has been a youth basketball coach for Ararat D-League for the past four years. Deeply committed to education and community service, Dr. Andriassian’s career reflects a lifelong dedication to student development. He resides in Glendale with his wife and two children.
