2006 Educator Grant Winners Selected:
The Aerospace Eduction Foundation is pleased to announce the names of the recipients of
the 2006 Educator Grants. The Educator Grant program is designed to promote aerospace education activities in
classrooms from kindergarten through twelfth grades. The program encourages development of innovative aerospace
activities within the prescribed curriculum. Educator Grants provide up to $250 per academic year in support to
elementary and secondary classrooms for aerospace education programs, opportunities, and activities when no support
is currently available. The program also encourages establishing an active relationship between the school and the
local Air Force Association organization.

Now Accepting Applications:
The Jimmy Stewart Aerospace Education Award is an award given
by the Aerospace Education Foundation to the AFJROTC Unit that produces the most compelling 60
second public service announcement on a given theme. For the contest in 2006 the theme selected
is: “How Skills Learned in Air Force ROTC Build Character and Better Citizens." The winning
entry will receive a $1000 check, a plaque and a trip to Washington, DC, to attend the AFA's Air
& Space Conference for two cadets, the AFJROTC Instructor and the School Principal. Second place
also receives a plaque and $750, and third place will receive a plaque and $500. There will be
honorable mention certificates as well.
Videos must be postmarked by March 31, 2006.
