Dr. Edit Khachatryan

An educator and researcher who immigrated from Armenia to Glendale at age nine, she is a first-generation college student who earned her B.A. and M.Ed. from UCLA and her Ph.D. from Stanford, later serving as a U.S. Department of Education Teaching Ambassador Fellow and founding the education consulting firm Sovoroom. She now serves as an elected Trustee of the Glendale Community College District and hopes to deepen AEF's mentorship of students.
