Sheila has been an AEF member since 1999, and has served on the board of Directors for 11 years. Sheila has served as chair of the Tufenkian Scholarship committee for the past 5 years. She has her BA degree from CSUN and was a bilingual (Spanish) teacher for 23 years.  Sheila has been a member of ARS for 32 years. Sheila is a pilot, and as such, been a member and officer of 99S (women pilots) and the Flying Samaritans. She and her husband have donated to AEF to renovate 11 schools in Armenia and Artsakh. Sheila has also been the sponsor of two student scholarships since 2018.
