Objective
The Jimmy Stewart Award challenges Air Force Junior ROTC
units around the nation to compete by creating a marketing
video. For the year 2006 units have been asked to create a 60
second public service announcement on the theme "How
Skills Learned in Air Force ROTC Build Character and Better
Citizens."
Requirements/Selection Criteria
- Each unit may submit only one videotape.
- Video must be created, shot, dubbed, mixed, etc., by
the cadets.
- Time limit is 60 seconds.
- A credits screen with you school name, unit, ASI,
producer and editor must be included.
- Complete identification (school name, instructor,
address and JROTC unit number) must accompany your entry
on the outside of the tape box as well as on the
videotape.
Award Allocation
- Winning entry receives $1,000 and a plaque.
- Representatives from the unit will be guests of the
Air Force Association National Convention to receive the
award.
- Second place receives $750 and a plaque.
- Third place receives $500 and a plaque.
Guidelines
- Video should focus on the theme
"How
Skills Learned in Air Force ROTC Build Character and Better
Citizens."
- Judges are looking for creativity, original
production, and technical merit.
- All entries become the property of AEF.
